Thermoinduced oxygen desorption in Y-Ba-Cu-O superconducting ceramics

Description

By the method of high-temperature mass-spectroscopy the process of thermoinduced oxygen desorption from two samples of YBa2Cu3O6.9 ceramics, having the temperature of superconducting transition 91 K and produced by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) and by the method of direct furnace synthesis, was studied. Several stages of desorption related to different variants of oxygen atom location in the sample structurre are detected. Attention is paid to the role of weakly bound oxygen in SHS
