Study on maximum position and its flUctuations for the extensive air shower with E0>2x1016 eV energies

Presented are the experimental results of the determination of the extensive air showers (EAS) maximum positron by the method of the registration of the Cherenkov light momentum configuration, obtained at the Yakutsk complex set EAS. Also presented are the results of the calculation of the Cherenkov momentum configuration, permitted to estimate the possibilities of this method for the investigation of cosmic rays of the superhigh energies. The calculation is carried out by the Monte-Carlo method on the basis of modelling of cascade from the nuclei with A = 1;4;15;52. The cascades are played for the atmosphere model corresponding to the Yakutsk conditions. Obtained are the dependences of the average depth of the shower maximum tsub(max) on the energy of the primary particle E0 and of the change tsub(max) with the energy E0 chanae within the range from 2x1016-2x1018 eV. The connection between the Cherenkov light momentum duration and the distance from the rsub(perpendicular) shower axis and the distance up to Hsub(max) shower maximum is obtained. Presented is the calculated dependence of Hsub(max) on the duration of the Cherenkov momentum tau300 at the distance rsub(perpendicular) = 300 m from the EAS axis, built up by the mean square method for the SKK model and the scaling model for the primary proton, the costheta = 1 and 0.85. According to the fluctuations of the maximum depth determined is the upper boundary for the primary particle interaction length. It is noted that the increase of the number of detector of the Cherenkov momentum configuration, positioned at the large area will permit to move into the energy region of approximately 1019 eV at the simultaneous increase of the relative aperture of each detector
