Study of radioactive elements in Sumgayit industrial zone

Description
The study of gray-brown soils of particular importance, which is characteristic for the Absheron peninsula in terms of assessing the effects of radioactive contamination on natural ecosystems. Thus, these soils with light clay and mainly sandy content have some characteristics that determine the distribution and migration of radionuclides. Unlike peat soils, sandy soils have lower density, which can increase the speed of horizontal and vertical migration of radionuclides in these soils.
