A model of the emergent Universe in inhomogeneous spacetime

Description
The scenario of an emergent Universe is constructed in the background of an inhomogeneous spacetime model with an asymptotically (at spatial infinity) FRW spacetime. The cosmic substratum consists of two non-interacting components, namely (a) homogeneous and isotropic fluid that is dissipative in nature and (b) an inhomogeneous and anisotropic barotropic fluid. In the non-equilibrium thermodynamic prescription (second order deviations), the particle creation mechanism is considered the cause for the dissipative phenomena. It is found that for a constant value of the particle creation rate parameter there exists a scenario of an emergent Universe. (paper)
