Process for upgrading methane to higher hydrocarbons
Description
This patent describes a process for synthesizing one or more hydrocarbons having at least two carbon atoms by the direct partial oxidation of methane. The process comprises: contacting a mixture of methane and oxygen with a cadmium-manganese oxide catalyst under conditions sufficient to convert methane to the one or more hydrocarbons having at least two carbon atoms
