Description
CT-based radiation treatment plans for 15 MeV x-ray irradiation of paraaortal lymph node metastases are presented. In contrast to two-axis arc irradiation technique, the irradiation with four fixed fields developed by the authors can be used at any section and any length of the paraaortal lymph node chain. This method allows high dose irradiation to large targets and ensures the protection of the spinal cord. (author)
