Diffusion of 67Cu and 63Ni in bulk polycrystalline YBa2Cu3O7-δ

Description
Cation diffusion of 67Cu and 63Ni radioactive tracers has been measured in bulk polycrystalline samples of YBa2Cu3O7-δin range 585-730 degrees C range and in an oxygen pressure of 1 br. The measured diffusion coefficients are enhanced by the presence of grain-boundaries and sintering voids as compared to the 63Ni diffusion measured earlier in epitaxial films. However, they are still several orders of magnitude smaller than the anon diffusion coefficients reported in the literature
