MR imaging evaluation of chest wall lymphoma

This paper compares MR imaging with CT in the evaluation of chest wall involvement by malignant lymphoma. The authors reviewed the chest CT scans and MR images obtained within 2 weeks of each other in 38 patients with new or recurrent mediastinal lymphoma. MR images included T1- and T2-weighted spin-echo and short inversion recovery imaging (STIR) sequences. We define chest wall involvement as evidence of extrapleural disease other than axillary or superclavicular adenopathy.
