The technological electron irradiation facility at the Research Centre Seibersdorf

Detailed description of the irradiation facility, established to serve industrial research is given including specification of the high-current (25 mA), 500 kV DC electron accelerator and the irradiation equipment such as the sample transport arrangement and the shielding and protection systems. The operational experience is discussed and the main areas of current research activity are listed. (S.R.)
