MRI and CT in lipomas of the diaphragm

The radiological appearance of 6 posterior epidiaphragmatic fatty tissue masses in MRI and CT is reported. The differential diagnostic considerations of lipoma, herniation or dystopia and the value of imaging techniques are discussed. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Anhand von 6 epidiaphragmalen Fettgewebsraumforderungen in den dorsalen Phrenikokostalrezessus werden deren radiologische Erscheinungsbilder in MRT und CT dargestellt. Die Abgrenzung gegenueber Fettgewebshernien und dystopem retroperitonealem Fettgewebe wird diskutiert und die diagnostische Wertigkeit fuer beide Verfahren abgeschaetzt. (orig.)
