Radiological diagnostics of phaeochromocytoma
Description
Basing on 26 patients with the diagnosis phaeochromocytoma in the period of 1957-1982, the accuracy and validity of the various radiological methods applied within diagnostics of phaeochromocytomas were assessed. This was done by going through the case histories and based on a re-assessment of all available X-ray pictures and comparing the radiological and pathoanatomic findings, in accordance to the operation and section reports. This was followed by a comparison of the own results to the data in literature and a proposal concerning a diagnosing programme for phaeochromocytomas. (orig.)

Ausgehend von 26 Patienten mit der Diagnose Phz. in den Jahren 1957 bis 1982 wurden Treffsicherheit und Aussagekraft der verschiedenen, im Rahmen der Phaeorhomozytom-Diagnostik angewandten, radiologischen Methoden beurteilt. Dazu erfolgte nach Durchsicht der Krankengeschichten und gestuetzt auf eine nochmalige Beurteilung aller verfuegbaren Roentgenaufnahmen eine vergleichende Gegenueberstellung von radiologischen und pathologisch-anatomischen Befunden entsprechend den Operations- und Sektionsberichten. Anschliessend wurden die eigenen Ergebnisse mit den Literaturangaben verglichen und ein Phz.-Diagnostikprogramm vorgeschlagen. (orig.)Additional details
