A particle spinner is designed to generate the volatile particles and shoof across the US to a huge detector. Physicists hope for precise measurements of the masses of the three neutrino types. Ultimatively, they could even help solving fundamentalpuzzles such as the question of why more matter than antimatter developed after the Big Bang.
