Analysis of cross-sections of neutron-induced reactions from 1 to 20 MeV

Creators

Description

The calculated cross-sections of all the more important reactions of neutrons on 59Co and 93Nb are compared with the experimental data. The optical model is used to obtain the differential elastic scattering cross-section and the total and reaction cross-sections, and the Weisskopf-Ewing, Hauser-Feshbach and Feshbach-Kerman-Koonin theories for the compound and the statistical multistep compound contributions to the neutron emission cross-section. Several other reactions, in particular the (n, 2n), (n, p) and (n, α), are also studied
