  • 1. The Yancheng First People's Hospital, Jiangsu, Yancheng (China)

Description

In order to explore the changes of serum IL-1β, IL-2 and TNFα levels and their clinical significance in patients with Behcet's disease, the levels of serum IL-1β, IL-2 and TNFα in 16 patients with complete type and 31 cases with incomplete type of Behcet's disease, and 34 normal controls were determined by RIA. The results showed that in patients with complete type and incomplete type of Behcet's disease, the levels of IL-1β, IL-2 and TNFα were significantly higher than those in the normal controls (P<0.01); There was no difference in serum IL-1β, IL-2 and TNFα in the complete type and incomplete type of Behcet's disease (P>0.05). The results indicate that the excessive secretion of IL-1β, IL-2 and TNFα in patients may correlate with the attack of Behcet's disease
