Pulse radiolysis in the nanosecundum range using alkenes as charge scavengers

Creators

  • 1. Magyar Tudomanyos Akademia Izotop Intezete, Budapest

Description

The method of pulse radiolysis (1MeV/15 μsec electron beam) was used to study reaction intermediates in irradiated liquid alkanes, butylchloride and dioxane containing isolated and conjugated alkadienes. The positive and negative intermediate ions of alkadienes were detected by optical spectroscopy. (Sz.J.)
