HEPA-filter testing by single optical intra-cavity laser particle counter

Description
The application of an intra-cavity laser in a single optical particle counter gives to the system a very high sensitivity and readout data which are practically independent of material constants. The particle counter has a sizing capability between 0.06 micrometer and 3 micrometer equivalent diameter. A protection factor of 109 for HEPA-filters can be immediately determined in contrast to the normal range of about 104 using a photometer
