Magnetic microstructure and electrical properties of rare-earth Fe-substituted cuprates of the 8-8-20 type

Description
Crystal structure, magnetic microstructure, and electrical properties of cuprates of rare-earth elements with a partial substitution of the atoms of strontium for rare-earth elements (REE) and iron for copper, i.e. Pr5.2Sr2.8Cu6.4Fe1.6O20, Nd5.2Sr2.8Cu6.4Fe1.6O20, Nd4.8Sr3.2Cu6.0Fe2O20 with a defective perovskite structure, have been investigated. The detailed analysis of the Moessbauer spectra of cuprates made it possible to assume that the substitution of strontium for REE in iron-substituted neodymium cuprates leads to a recharging of a portion of iron cations, and of lanthanide ions in praseodymium cuprates. The measurements of electrical conductivity and thermopower of the samples confirmed this assumption

Исследованы кристаллическая структура, магнитная микроструктура и электрические свойства купратов редкоземельных элементов с частичным замещением атомов редкоземельных элементов (РЗЭ) на стронций, а меди - на железо Pr5.2Sr2.8Cu6.4Fe1.6O20, Nd5.2Sr2.8Cu6.4Fe1.6O20, Nd4.8Sr3.2Cu6.0Fe2O20 со структурой дефектного перовскита. Детальный анализ мессбауэровских спектров купратов позволил предположить, что при замене РЗЭ на стронций в железо-замещенных купратах неодима происходит перезарядка части катионов железа, а в купратах празеодима - лантаноида.
