Resonances in electron scattering from cadmium
Description
Transmission of electrons with kinetic energies up to 13 eV through a heated collision chamber filled with Zn, Cd, or Hg vapors was studied. Features in the derivative of the transmitted current as a function of electron energy are attributed to shape resonances, Feshbach resonances, or Wigner cusps. 3 references
