Refrigerator-operated cryogenic pump
Description
The cryogenic pump has a two-stage refrigerator. A protective tube formed by two semicylinders covers the tube connecting the pump heads of the first and second stage. Each semicylinder is arranged at a short distance from the other pumping head. Excessive pumping times and pressure variations are thus avoided. (MM)
Abstract (German)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kryopumpe mit einem zweistufigen Refrigerator, bei dem erfindungsgemaess um das den Pumpenkopf der ersten Stufe mit dem Pumpenkopf der zweiten Stufe verbindende Rohr des Refrigerators ein Schutzrohr in Form von zwei Halbzylindern angeordnet ist, das in geringem Abstand zum jeweils anderen Pumpenkopf steht. Bei dieser Kryopumpe treten unerwuenscht lange Pumpzeiten und Druckschwankungen nicht mehr auf. (MM)Files
