Description

A new interpretation for the two new rotational bands in the 102Nb nucleus is presented. These two bands in 102Nb are proposed to be semi-decoupled bands where the odd proton with Ωp = 1/2 is coupled to the rotation axis and odd neutron with Ωn ≠ 1/2 is strongly coupled to the deformation axis of the 100Zr deformed core. The likely orbitals are π1/2[431] and ν3/2[532]. (author). Letter-to-the-editor
