Description

Cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS) is a technology that can dramatically increase the detection sensitivity of laser absorption spectroscopy. We are developing a CRDS (14C-CRDS) system intended for the drug discovery field that can analyze radiocarbon isotopes (14C). This article describes our development of key technologies for achieving the 14C-CRDS system, development of a 14C-CRDS system based on those technologies, and a basic evaluation of that system. キャビティリングダウン分光法(CRDS)は,レーザー吸収分光の検出感度を飛躍的に高める技術の一つであり,著者らは創薬分野をターゲットとした放射性炭素同位体(14C)用 CRDS(14C-CRDS)装置を開発している。本稿では14C-CRDS 装置実現に向けた要素技術を開発し,それらの技術を適用した14C-CRDS 装置の開発および基礎評価について述べる。(著者)
