Variance-covariance method: electric current measurements
Creators
Description
The experimental plan, the equipment, and some electronic tests for verifying the utility of the variance-covariance technique for microdosimetric applications in monoenergetic neutron beams are described. The technique depends on simultaneous measurements with two uncoupled detectors for making corrections due to fluctuations in beam intensity. Some measurements obtained in an x-ray beam are reported
