Description
Internal flooding is an important risk to nuclear power plant, quantification of internal flooding events is not only an effective way of identifying flooding risk, but also the basis of the internal flooding probability safety assessment. The quantitative method status of internal flooding events is reviewed, and then a general method is put forward, and a 900 MW nuclear power plan services water pipe failure internal flooding events are quantified. The proposed method has important reference value for the internal flooding PSA of nuclear power plant in China. (authors)
