Effect of density characteristics on the quality of molybdenum sintered billets

Description

Effect of density chracteristics on the quality of molybdenum sintered billets to be used for production of molybdenum wire is studied. A distinct correlation is established between the metal commercial output and density characteristics of sintered compacts for production of molybdenum wire. A conclusion is drawn on advisability of checking the density characteristics of all molybdenum compacts before their forging. Therefore labour- and equipment effficiency is increased, the amount of rejects is descreased, finished products quality is improved
