Ultrasound control of accumulation of fatigue failures and reduction of detail lifetime

Description

The technique of control of strength properties of steels at the fatigue testing by means of measuring the ultrasound propagation velocity is described. The method of reducing the working capacity of products by means of the treatment by power pulses of the electric current is proposed. It allows to increase the lifetime of items and to prevent the fatigue failures
