Installation for vacuum vapour deposition of nickel, more particularly for manufacturing neutron guides
Description
The present invention proposes an installation for vacuum vapour deposition of Ni of the type including in a vacuum chamber a device for heating a mass of at least one Ni isotope to be evaporated, and a surface to be covered with deposited Ni facing the heater, is claimed, in which the heater includes a ribbon of W conformed in a middle part into a container in which is placed a refractory crucible in which is placed the Ni to be evaporated, and adapted to be connected at two terminal zones to an electrical circuit. The crucible is Al203. The invention finds an application in neutron guide fabrication, more particularly for Ni58 vapour deposition on the surfaces of the neutron guide

L'invention propose une installation de deposition de nickel par evaporation sous vide du genre comportant, dans une enceinte destinee a etre mise sous vide, un dispositif de chauffage d'une masse d'au moins un isotope de nickel a evaporer et une surface utile a recouvrir de nickel disposee en regard de ce dispositif de chauffage, caracterisee en ce que le dispositif de chauffage comporte un ruban essentiellement constitue de tungstene, conforme en une partie mediane en une cuvette sur laquelle est pose un creuset refractaire (Al203) destine a recevoir une masse de nickel a evaporer, et adapte a etre connecte en deux zones terminales a un circuit d'alimentation en courant.
