Indoor radon and lung cancers: myth or reality?
Description
Neither the data presently available on deaths from broncho-pulmonary carcinomas in France at a time when tobacco consumption was much lower than nowadays, nor the present data relative to the ''departments'' where indoor radon levels are the highest justify the importance given now to the problem. The risk factors set forth in ICRP publication 50 (1986) seem very highly overestimated. (author)
