Description

The ordinance refers to radiation protection purposes and the relevant means and activities. Building structures and equipment are dealt with together with the requirements to be met in normal operation and in case of accidents. The article explains the main contents and applicability of the ordinance. One particular difference to most of the former regulations is that this one is not based mainly on evaluations of accidents already occurred, but on perceptible risk potentials that are to be got under control in advance. Abstract (German)

Die Vorschrift betrifft den Strahlenschutz bei Bau und Ausruestung und beim Betrieb sowie die Sicherstellung von Flucht und Rettung im Betrieb. Inhalt und Geltungsbereich werden vorgestellt und in wesentlichen Punkten erlaeutert. Ein besonderer Unterschied zu den meisten frueheren Vorschriften liegt darin, dass diese nicht ueberwiegend auf Auswertungen bereits eingetretener Unfaelle aufbaut, sondern auf erkennbaren Risikopotentialen, die vorausschauend beherrscht werden sollen.
