Giant magnetoresistance effect in La2/3Ca1/3MnOz thin film

Description
Good c-axis oriented La2/3Ca1/3MnOz(LCMO) thin films were prepared by d.c. magnetron sputtering on ZrO2(100) substrates. Very obvious giant magneto-resistance (GMR) effect has been observed in these as-grown films. The magnetoresistance ratio (MR) is about 6% at room temperature under 6T, and as high as 2500% at liquid temperature. The effectiveness of H on the ratio of magnetoresistance are discussed
