Polynuclear homometallic thiocomplexes of molybdenum and tungsten

Description
Data on synthesis methods, structure and chemical properties of polynuclear homometallic molybdenum and tungsten thiocomplexes are first considered in detail. Spatial and electron structure is discussed, comparison with molybdenum and tungsten oxo- and oxothiocomplexes is carried out. Reactions of mononuclear MS42- with acids, oxygen, ammonium polysulfide, sulfur, thermolysis reactions; sulfur elimination and addition reactions, nucleophilic substitution, intramolecular regroupings, interstitial reactions by Mo-S and S-S bonds are considered. The given data are of interest for understanding some catalytic processes, for developing methods of producing high-dispersed homo- and heterometallic sulfides
