Description
Mr. Miyazaki at Fukushima Medical University and Mr. Hayano at the University of Tokyo published two articles using the personal dosimetry data based on Date citizens' glass badge provided by the city authorities of Date City, Fukushima Prefecture. This paper criticized the Miyazaki-Hayano's second article. This paper discussed not only the effects of the lifetime dose, but also those of decontamination as well, and made integrated criticism using not only the second article but also the first article and other materials. The main points are as follows: (1) subjects in each area of this article are very special groups, (2) average and coefficient shown as the peripheral dose rate of area A are incorrect, (3) Figure 6 and Figure 7 are inconsistent, (4) average lifetime dose without decontamination in area A is incorrect, (5) 99 percentile value in the second paper is considered to be 90 percentile, and (6) although the effect of decontamination reducing the exposure dose rate by 22% is obvious, this article says that it is ineffective. Finally, as a supplement to this paper, it presents the facts about ethical violations that were found after the last criticism against the first article. (A.O.)
