SPECT of the myocardium with 201Tl chloride
Description
A comparison is made between SPECT and planar scintigraphy as methods to visualise myocardial perfusion in six female patients with angina pectoris complaints and in a heart phantom. Scintigraphy gives minor contrasts and artefacts because of absorption. SPECT gives a better spatial view and a better determination of localisation and size of the defect
