Evaluation of radionuclide procedures for the diagnosis of thyroid disorders

Description
The application of radionuclide procedures to 279 patients of thyroid disorder were evaluated. TSH IRMA test, total T3 and T4, free T3 and T4, TMAb and TGAb thyroid uptake percentage and also the thyroid imaging were used. All of the results demonstrated and concluded that the TSH IRMA, free T3 and free T4 tests were the most sensitive ones and should be the first choice method used for the evaluation of thyroid function
