Description

The short history of the development of WC-Co hardmetals with fine grain structure is given. The manufacturing method of nanostructural WC-Co mixes according to L. E. McCandlish et altera has been described. Characteristics of nano-mixes purchased at Nanodyne Inc. and physicomechanical properties of sintered compacts from these powders are discussed. (author)
