Motion of Abrikosov unit vortexes in niobium superconducting films under alpha particle effect
Description
The motion of Abrikosov unit vortexes (AV) captured in pinning centres are investigated using Josephson tunnel junctions (JTJ); the motion is initiated by the ingress of unit α-particles into Nb film. The films were irradiated with 5.8 MeV α-particles. The obtained results evidence a transport of unit AV from the central region of JTJ to the periphery under long-term exposure to α-particles
