Description

Among the products of irradiation of natural molybdenum with deuterons of energies up to 13 MeV the following radionuclides were identified by gamma and X-ray spectrometry: 90Nb, sup(92m)Nb, sup(95m+g)Nb, 96Nb, 99Mo, 101Mo, 92Tc, sup(93+g)Tc, sup(94m+g)Tc, sup(95m+g)Tc, 96Tc, sup(97m)Tc, sup(99m)Tc, 101Tc, and 89Zr. For the more intensive lines of gamma transition of 90Nb, 96Nb, sup(93m+g)Tc, sup(94m+g)Tc, sup(95m+g)Tc, 96Tc, and sup(97m)Tc the accurate photon energies were determined. For the lines 1475.7 and 1520.5 keV of 93Tc, 820.2 keV of sup(95m)Tc, and 96.4 keV of sup(97m)Tc the absolute intensities of the emitted gamma radiation were determined too. By means of aluminium foils the atomic recoil in forward and backward direction was determined for the 17.82 mg/cm2 Mo foils using deuteron energies up to 12.7 MeV and an ion current of 3.4 μA.
