H. Radioactive releases from nuclear power plants
Description
This report summarises the inventry of fission products and other radioactive substances which are formed in a typical nuclear power plant; considers in detail those which could be released in accidental situations and, in more detail, those which are known to be released as routine effluents in normal operation; and finally compares the resulting radiation dose rate to workers in the nuclear industry and the public with that arising naturally from various sources of background radiation
