Complex compounds of zinc nitrate with urea, benzamide and benzoic acid
Description
In coordination chemistry, metal complexes containing various N, O donor centers in the ligand environment occupy a special place. They are models for studying the problem of competitive coordination in the chemistry of complex compounds due to the specific effect of their environment on the stereochemistry of polyhedra. The composition of the synthesized compounds was established by elemental analysis. For the first time, two new coordination compounds of zinc nitrate with carbamide, benzamide, and benzoic acid have been synthesized. The thermal behavior of the synthesized compounds was studied and the products of thermolysis were identified. (author)
