Construction of realistic superstring standard-like models
Description
In this work, the author discusses the construction of realistic superstring standard-like models in the four-dimensional free fermionic formulation. The author discusses proton lifetime constraints on superstring models. The author discusses the massless spectrum of the superstring standard-like models and the texture of fermion mass matrices in these models, and argues that the realistic features of these models are due to the underlying Z2 x Z2 orbifold compactification. 11 refs., 1 tab
