Description

Algorithms for modeling multicomponent systems using small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) data are presented. They enable to estimate the volume fractions of the components, the average size and width of the particle distribution in the approximation of simple geometric bodies, restore the shape of the intermediate components during the formation of fibrils, determine the multi-lamellar organization of lipid mixtures and the electron density of the lipid bilayer, and separate the scattering profiles of individual components in protein mixtures using SAXS setup with online size-exclusion chromatography. The capabilities of these algorithms are illustrated by a number of theoretical and experimental data sets

Abstract (Russian)

Представлены алгоритмы моделирования многокомпонентных систем по данным малоуглового рентгеновского рассеяния. Они позволяют оценивать объемные доли компонент, средние размеры и ширину распределения частиц в приближении простых геометрических тел, восстанавливать форму промежуточных компонент в процессе образования фибрилл, определять мультиламеллярную организацию липидных смесей и электронную плотность липидного бислоя, разделять профили рассеяния отдельных компонент в белковых смесях в условиях малоуглового эксперимента с он-лайн использованием хромaтографической колoнки. Возможности данных алгоритмов проиллюстрированы на ряде теоретических и экспериментальных данных
