The design of ARMS system in Tianwan nuclear power plant
Description
In design of ARMS in Tianwan Nuclear Plant, the function of radiation monitoring system is divided into four parts, i.e. process monitoring, situation monitoring, contamination monitoring and individual dose monitoring, with clear classified functions. The scanning γ spectrometric monitors for liquid and gas are used in nuclear power plant for the first time. It can reduce the sampling on site and acquire the real time data quickly. The set of high-range γ monitor for beyond design basis accidents can be a reference for post Fukushima design. The digital design can make the radiation monitoring information and relative process information to display on the same workstation, and to display on different workstations as classified. On the other hand, the control function can be performed at all workstations to realize remote operation of radiation monitors, and to fulfill distributed control and centralized management for radiation monitoring information.
