Study of primitive universe in the Bianchi IX model

Description

The theory of general relativity is used to study the homogeneous cosmological model Bianch IX with isometry group SO(3) near the cosmological singularity. The Bogoyavlenskii-Novikov formalism to explain the anusual behaviour of the Liapunov exponent associated with this chaotic system, is introduced. (author)

Utiliza-se a teoria da Relatividade Geral para estudar o modelo cosmologico homogeneo Bianchi IX com grupo de isometria SO(3) proximo da singularidade cosmologica. Introduz-se o formalismo de Bogoyavlenskii-Novikov para explicar o comportamento nao usual do expoente de Liapunov associado a este sistema caotico. (autor)
