Electrostatic field simulation and calculation of the GEM

  • 1. China Science and Technology Univ., Hefei (China). Dept. of Modern Physics

Description

To simulate and calculate the distribution of electrostatic field in the GEM detectors based on the finite element method. The methods of building the model, confirming the boundary condition and making the mesh are described. the electrostatic field of standard GEM with geometrical structure is presented in this paper.
