Corrosion resistance of steels and alloys in silicofluoric acid
Description
The ranges of corrosion resistance of steels and alloys have been defined at temperatures of 60 and 80 deg C and at F:Si ratios from 4.5:1 to 10:1. It has been established that the F:Si ratio is the basic parameter determining the corrosion behaviour of metallic materials. The most corrosion-resistant are nickel-based alloys N54Kh22M7S4D4L and 03KhN60MB at a F:Si ratio of not greater than 8.0:1 at 60 deg C and not greater than 6.0:1 at 80 deg C
