Progress of agricultural application of degraded chitosan in Thailand
Description
Low molecular weight chitosan was obtained by gamma radiation degradation and molecular weight fractionation. Oligochitosan has noticeable effects on plant growth rate. Each type of plant responds differently to chitosan with different molecular weights, depending on the absorptive abilities of their roots' system. (author)
