Description

A new principle of zonation of geological provinces according to conditions of prospecting for uranium deposits is suggested. It is shown that peculiarities of the formation of secondary uranium accumulations on geochemical barriers are conditioned by the character of geochemical landscape development and hypergenous uranium mineralization in soils and crusts of weathering is connected genetically and spatially either with the outcrops of endogenous uranium mineralization or with initially uranium-bearing rocks. The regularities can promote the development of efficient techniques of prospecting for commercial deposits
