Description
The Early Universe is believed to have been in the form of quark gluon plasma till about a few microseconds after the Big Bang. We briefly discuss the basic concepts of the physics of quark gluon plasma and its formation in relativistic heavy ion collisions. Signatures of its formation and steps being taken to use these experiments to explore dynamics and properties of quark gluon plasma will be covered. (author)
