Increase of radiation protection of medical personnel participating in gynecologic roentgenological examinations

Description

Radiation hygienic working conditions of gynecologists performing hysterosalpingography are studied. Systematic individual dosimetric control showed that annual doses of gynecologists performing roentgenological examinations are 2.7-6.5 Sv. These doses are approximating and even exceeding the dose limits, adopted by NRP-76 for B category. A protective screen, providing optimization of working conditions of radiological gynecologists and permitting to increase functional radiation loads of the specialists are developed
