Magnetic length measurement of Indus-2 quadrupole magnet
- 1. Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore (India)
Description
Storage ring, Indus-2, consists of a total 72-quadrupole magnets, out of which 40 are closed type magnets and 32 are open type quadrupole magnets. These magnets are divided into 5 groups depending upon their magnetic lengths and their usage. Magnetic length and field homogeneity in transverse plane are measured for few quadrupole magnets. Results of magnetic length and gradient variation are discussed in this paper. (author)
