Description
The isotopic structure of the weak interaction Lagrangian Lw in the Skyrme model is considered. The components of Lw corresponding to weak transitions with the change of isospin ΔI=0.2 are shown to vanish in the leading order in 1/Nc (where Nc is the number of colors). So, the dominant contribution to weak interaction of nucleons comes from the isovector component of the Lagrangian. This result holds valid for arbitrary (hence, also for the axial-symmetric) configuration of the soliton field. Such isotopic structure of the weak interaction Lagrangian is in qualitative disagreement with the phenemenology of P-odd processes in nucleonic systems implying that the degrees of freedom, different from the pionic fields, should be necessarily taken into account in other models
